Character Creation

The basic way a character is created is by spending CP (Character Points) to purchase attributes, skills and other things. A normal mech character will start with 150 character points to spend on character creation.

There are four basic characeter attributes. Body, Dex, Learn and Char. Each attribute is on a scale of 2-12 with 6 considered an average score.

Body
Measures strength, stamina and ability to withstand adverse conditions. Determines target levels for Survial, Brawling and Athletics.

Dex
The dexterity attribute measures coordination, reflexes and agility. Determines target levels for Mech Gunnery, Piloting and Rogue skills.

Learn
The Learning attribute measures the ability to learn. Learn helps determine skill rating targets for skills like Engineering, Technician and Tactics.

Char
The Charisma attribute measures appearance, personal magnetism and strength of presence. Charisma helps determine targets for skills like Diplomacy, Leadership and Interrogation.
